Sorry to hear you are in such pain and fatigue. It's the fatigue that is the most inexplicable for me. I am similar to you. Up @ 9:30 AM, Sleep for 1 - 2 hrs during the day. in bed by 10PM. I could sleep for England.

Thinking of you......

Sorry to hear you're feeling bad at present.

'Flares' are pretty horrible and very debilitating. Hopefully you have good medical support, which you will need and that
you are also making use of that support. It is possible that if considered appropriate you might be offered an increased dose
or steroids to tide you over.

Hope you feel better soon, but do use your medical team.

sorry to hear you are in a rotten flare,

have you asked if you could have a depo steroid injection they can work well, as for the fatigue that's the main thing that bothers me these days but i'm not a great sleeper so i know that's half the trouble. if i do sleep well then i feel so much brighter but can't complain RA wise now i am under control.

hope to hear you are feeling better soon,

Suzanne

Hello man with no name!

Go with your body, stay in bed if you feel awful/stiff/flare/shattered.
Personally I have felt like that....don't worry or feel stressed by how you feel.

Contact your rheumy for steroid jab for short term relief, see if your meds need tweaking/are you due a blood test? (I have my crp tested every month for inflammation factors)

My rheumy says weather/damp doesn't effect ra but I feel it does (and my knee replacement)!!!

Please don't feel stressed by the flare, it is not forever......I see ra like waves in the sea, some huge and dramatic, some little ripples and imagine that I'm on a surf board having a fantastic time!!! But in real life a post knee op, really on a surf board?!! You've got to smile at the thought of it!

Take care
Jane

How are you doing? Any sign of the flare dying down?
